The People of NCITE

NCITE Organizational Chart

Roles

Director: responsible for setting the agendas for NCITE and is assisted by Associate Director, and CSE Department Chair.

Affiliates: organizations that work with NCITE on various fronts: proposal submission, implementation of research studies, tool development, and so on.

Advisory Panel: consists of 3-5 senior researchers who are responsible for participating in annual meetings to review what NCITE has accomplished during the past year, to assess and evaluate what NCITE is currently doing, and to discuss and formulate plans for NCITE's future; evaluating the people, projects, funding, and resources of NCITE and provide suggestions or recommendations; building research collaborations both internally and externally including at the local, regional and national level with other institutions; advising on opportunities for funding and proposal submissions; and helping to build funding contacts and identify funding opportunities at federal agencies and foundations.

Administrative Staff: manages financial accounts and promotional materials and other day-to-day operations.

System Support Staff: maintains the NCITE server and other computers and software developed or used at NCITE.

Fellows: group of researchers and educators who share the vision of NCITE and contribute to the NCITE community, providing expertise and resources that could foster collaborations in research and development of IT tools for education purposes. This fellowship is diverse and over-arching, covering a variety of disciplines for IT applications and a variety of IT research for educational purposes.
